BBDO Bangkok Revives Classic Film Moments for Five Star Chicken’s 40th Anniversary Celebration

Bangkok, Thailand — Five Star Chicken is celebrating 40 years of excellence with an exciting new campaign: “40 Years of Deliciousness That’s Worth Remembering.” Building on the success of their award-winning campaign ‘The Movies That Made (From) Us’, Five Star Chicken has partnered with BBDO Bangkok to create a fresh, engaging experience that will delight movie lovers and food enthusiasts alike.

This latest campaign features iconic film scenes reimagined with real Five Star customers. From the thrilling water-shaking scene from a dinosaur epic to the dramatic Spartan kick, heart-pounding Korean zombies on a train, and an emotional sci-fi father-daughter reunion, each moment gets a delicious Five Star twist. The campaign showcases five of Five Star Chicken’s favorite products, including grilled chicken, fried chicken, chicken rolls, and chicken with fish sauce.

The creative genius behind the campaign is Teerapol Suneta from Suneta House, known for his innovative work on ‘The Movies That Made (From) Us’ and ‘My Parent is a Tiktoker’, which earned accolades at Cannes. Thasorn Boonyanate, Chief Creative Officer of BBDO Bangkok, reflects on the campaign’s essence: “As we celebrate Four Decades of Five Star Chicken, our goal is to remind our consumers of what we stand for. Unlike other brands that focus on frequent promotions, we pride ourselves on delivering consistent value, taste, and quality. From the polar oil used to fry our chicken across 6,000 branches to the premium chicken rolls served in five-star hotels, our commitment to excellence remains unwavering. Our brand is truly ‘worth it’ and we invite our audience to savor this nostalgic cinematic journey while enjoying their favorite Five Star Chicken.”

Experience the cinematic magic and savor the taste of Five Star Chicken with this unforgettable campaign, and remember to enjoy a Five Star Chicken meal anytime, whether it’s for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack.
