Malcolm Poynton, Global Chief Creative Officer & President Creative, Cheil Worldwide, will present a unique opportunity for real-time experiential learning. Poynton remarked, “Today’s creatives have grown up inside the box of technology; on computers, online, on mobile, in games, and on social media. This year, I’ll be taking the LIA Creative LIAisons participants off-site and outside to experience creativity and inspiration beyond the screen, revealing how brands are more than what people think.”

Creative LIAisons attendees will also have the exclusive opportunity to sit in on the judging sessions, witnessing firsthand the discussions and debates among senior creatives as they evaluate and critique work. This behind-the-scenes access offers unparalleled insights into the decision-making process—a rare learning opportunity at any global festival.

Additionally, attendees will participate in the 2024 LIA Legend Award presentation, where Piyush Pandey, former Global Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy, will be honored. They will also have the chance to learn directly from his vast experience.

Since its inception in 2012, Creative LIAisons has welcomed over 1,300 emerging talents, contributing significantly to the development of future industry leaders.

Laurissa Levy, Creative LIAisons Director & Events Director, emphasized, “We view this program as a crucial stepping stone for young creatives on their journey up the creative ladder. There are countless success stories from our alumni, which is why we continue to invest in this program year after year. The industry is relentless in what it demands from creative people, so our goal is to give back. We hope all attendees make the most of this opportunity to learn, ask questions, gain insights, and connect with judges, speakers, and peers from around the world. We are confident they will leave these five days enriched and ready to continue their upward creative journey.”
