DDB Group Melbourne has promoted Psembi Kinstan to Chief Creative Officer (CCO), recognizing his leadership and contributions since joining in 2021. Kinstan, who previously held the role of Group Executive Creative Director, has been instrumental in elevating the agency’s creative direction and fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork across DDB, Mango, and Tribal teams.

Under Kinstan’s leadership, DDB Melbourne’s headcount has grown to over 100, and the agency has secured major clients, including Coles, Asahi CUB, Acciona, Movember, and Our Watch. He also played a key role in the creation of Smith Street, a specialized team dedicated to the Coles account, combining the best of DDB and OMD’s resources. Additionally, Kinstan helped strengthen DDB Melbourne’s social media and innovation-focused teams, making it a more dynamic and modern agency.

Creatively, Kinstan’s work has gained global recognition, placing DDB Melbourne back on the creative map. He has been behind campaigns like “The Creative Index” for Jarden and the NGV, Coles’ “Great Lengths for Quality,” and the global University of Dyslexic Thinking in partnership with Richard Branson, Virgin, TikTok, and Open University. His commitment to innovative, socially impactful campaigns is reflected in projects that champion causes like dyslexia awareness and mental health through Movember’s “Mancestry” campaign.

Kinstan’s contributions to workplace culture and creativity have helped DDB Melbourne rank among the top 20 APAC agencies at Cannes and secure the #2 spot for Campaign Brief The Work’s Agency of the Year for two consecutive years. DDB Melbourne CEO Mike Napolitano commended Kinstan, calling him “a world-class leader” whose vision aligns with the agency’s goal of creating impactful, enjoyable work.

With this promotion, Kinstan will continue to drive DDB Melbourne’s creative vision and ambition forward, aiming to strengthen the agency’s global presence while nurturing a supportive and inspiring work environment. His promotion is effective immediately, setting an exciting new chapter for DDB Group Melbourne.
