DDB Sydney Welcomes Back Anna Paine and Owen Bryson as Creative Directors

Matt Chandler, Chief Creative Officer at DDB Sydney, has announced the exciting return of Anna Paine and Owen Bryson as Creative Directors. Rejoining the agency’s dynamic creative team, Paine and Bryson bring with them a wealth of experience and a track record of success from their recent role at indie agency Dig.

During their three-year tenure at Dig, the duo launched the successful “Good value booze, for good value people” platform for The Bottle-O and achieved notable new business wins with Australian Pork and Mitre 10. Before this, they spent seven impactful years at DDB Sydney, where they contributed to major campaigns including McDonald’s Mother’s Day “Cravings” and the award-winning “A little goes a long way” platform.

In their new roles, Paine and Bryson will continue to drive emotionally engaging creativity for key clients such as McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Westpac, and Lipton Iced Tea.

Matt Chandler expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Hiring Anna and Owen back was an easy decision. They were among our best hires and have done remarkable work with Dig. We’re thrilled to have them return to DDB.”

Paine and Bryson shared their excitement about returning, “DDB feels like home to us. It’s a world-class agency with exceptional people, and we’re excited to be back under Matt’s leadership.”

Their appointment is effective immediately, marking a new chapter of creativity and success for DDB Sydney.
