ECDA Launches Revamped ‘Shape Our Tomorrow’ Campaign to Empower Children’s Holistic Development
The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) has unveiled a refreshed three-year nationwide campaign titled ‘Empower Today, Shape Our Tomorrow’. This initiative aims to engage a broader audience, including parents and early childhood professionals, emphasizing the crucial role of holistic development in children’s lives and strengthening partnerships between parents and preschools.
Building on the foundation of the original ‘Shape Our Tomorrow’ campaign launched in 2018, this refreshed effort includes innovative approaches such as a thought-provoking film adaptation of the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty. The film encourages parents and educators to empower children to explore their potential beyond conventional limits.
Accompanying the film are three key visuals highlighting the campaign’s focus on holistic learning, parent-preschool partnerships, and building resilience in young children. Minister of State Sun Xueling, at the recent ECDA Fellows Appointment Ceremony, praised the campaign for its commitment to supporting educators, parents, and children in their roles.
“This campaign is about allowing children to play, learn, and explore, enabling educators to nurture and guide, and empowering parents to be their children’s first teachers at home,” remarked Minister Sun Xueling.
Through interactive on-ground activations planned for later this year, the campaign seeks to spark meaningful conversations about the importance of holistic education beyond academics. It underscores ECDA’s dedication to providing accessible and high-quality early childhood development services for every child.
