Lidl has launched its biggest Christmas campaign yet, with the theme of wishes coming true. The campaign, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Tom Hooper and created by BBDO Germany, aims to bring magic and joy to customers across 30 countries.
The heartwarming story follows a young girl who makes a selfless wish on Christmas Eve, unlocking the true spirit of the holiday. The campaign emphasizes the power of togetherness, giving, and community, which are central to Lidl’s brand values.
This year’s holiday ad is part of a larger, multi-channel campaign, featuring a six-minute film, social media assets, in-store materials, and promotional content. It reflects Lidl’s commitment to supporting local communities, with the brand’s Toy Bank initiative returning for 2024 to donate toys to children in need.
