London Bridge Turns Into Striking Testicular Cancer Awareness Exhibit

A charity has transformed Westminster Bridge in London into an eye-catching installation for Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.

Utilizing a unique feature in the 162-year-old bridge’s design, St Marks Studios created a compelling visual for the Oddballs Foundation, a testicular cancer charity. When sunlight passes through gaps in the bridge, it projects 497 penis-shaped shadows onto the walkway. The campaign, orchestrated by COOH agency St Marks Studios, includes subtle banners and signs spanning the 250-meter bridge, urging passersby with the message, “This is a sign to check your balls.” Posters also feature a QR code that leads to the foundation’s website, offering guidance on how to perform self-checks for early signs of testicular cancer.

Testicular cancer is the most prevalent cancer among men aged 15 to 49, with about 2,300 new cases diagnosed annually in the UK, translating to six diagnoses each day. Despite its frequency, recent studies by The OddBalls Foundation show that only 18.5% of British men regularly check themselves for signs of the disease.
