Marie Julie Gerbauld is now the new Creative Head of DAVID São Paulo

Marie Julie Gerbauld has been promoted to Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at DAVID São Paulo starting this June. She joined the agency in November 2023 as Executive Creative Director, and her promotion comes at an exciting time for the agency, which has recently added major clients like Unilever (Dove and LUX), Heinz Brazil, General Mills, and Firehouse Subs.

Sylvia Panico, Global COO of DAVID, praised Marie’s leadership, saying, “Since joining, Marie has helped build our reputation, drive business growth, and earn accolades at international festivals. Her promotion is well-deserved and recognizes her exceptional talent.”

Marie was recently recognized as one of Ad Age’s “Creative to Watch in 2025” and is also part of the prestigious “Adweek Creative 100” list.

Pancho Cassis, Partner & Global CCO at DAVID, commented, “From the beginning, we knew Marie would have a significant impact — not just on our clients’ businesses, but also on our team. She brings a unique combination of creativity, business vision, and skill.”

Marie shared her excitement, stating, “What makes DAVID truly unique is its deeply ingrained creative culture that influences every aspect of our agency and fosters a collaborative process. I’m thrilled to be part of this and to contribute even more.”

Marie has over 20 years of experience in the industry, working at top agencies like Publicis and DPZ. Before joining DAVID, she worked at AKQA for three and a half years. She has worked on campaigns for global brands such as Google, Nike, Bradesco, Unilever, and Coca-Cola. At DAVID, she led the award-winning “Shot on Faber-Castell” campaign, which won multiple international honors, including Cannes Lions.
