Rodrigo Mitma joins We Are Social Singapore as the new Creative Director

We Are Social Singapore has enhanced its creative team with the appointment of Rodrigo Mitma as Creative Director. In this new role, Mitma will collaborate with fellow Creative Director Daniel Foo to lead the agency’s creative efforts, focusing on delivering innovative, social-first, and impactful work for clients. Reporting to Regional Executive Creative Director Omar Sotomayor, Mitma will help steer the agency’s vision and creativity.

With nearly 15 years of industry experience, Mitma is an award-winning creative and art director. He brings extensive expertise, particularly in the healthcare sector, and has spearheaded successful local, regional, and global creative campaigns for various industries including FMCG, automotive, retail, and government clients. His impressive portfolio has earned him prestigious accolades, including awards at the Effies, Clio, LIA, and Spikes Asia, as well as shortlists at Cannes Lions and D&AD.

Originally from Peru, Mitma has been based in Singapore for the last seven years. During this time, he led creative teams at DDB and McCann Health, where he gained significant recognition for his work. Before relocating to Singapore, he worked at Grey and CARNE Prime Advertising House in Lima.

We Are Social Singapore, known for its innovation and expertise in social-first production, boasts a team of 80 talented professionals. The agency works with prominent brands such as Samsung Mobile, HBO, UOB, and TikTok. It has earned a strong reputation for pushing boundaries, from developing AI and extended reality (XR) products to creating virtual influencers as part of its future strategy and global innovation arm, XYZ.
