Sompat Trisadikun Thai Creative Legend Passes Away

On August 10, 2025, Thailand’s renowned creative leader Sompat ‘Khae’ Trisadikun passed away suddenly due to a heart attack. He was serving as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at Grey Thailand. His passing has left the creative community in Thailand and across Asia deeply saddened.

Sompat Trisadikun was a shining star in the Thai advertising industry. He joined Leo Burnett Thailand in 2003 and rose to Chief Creative Officer in 2012, leading the agency to numerous international accolades. After joining Grey Thailand, he led campaigns that won Gold, Silver, and Bronze Lions at the 2025 Cannes Lions Festival.

His creativity went far beyond his work; his bright smile, kind nature, and empathetic personality made him beloved by all. He was a true mentor, guiding generations of young creatives. His sudden passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the Thai advertising industry.

Grey Thailand said in an official statement, “Sompat was a kind force, always positive and never losing his cool.” Additionally, Thailand-based AdFest described him as “a true advertising legend and a dear friend to so many.”

Sompat Trisadikun’s creative brilliance, generosity, and leadership will continue to inspire future generations, and his legacy in Thai advertising will always be remembered.
