IPG Mediabrands Malaysia Appoints Stephanie Foong as Chief Investment Officer

IPG Mediabrands Malaysia has announced the appointment of Stephanie Foong as its new Chief Investment Officer, effective July 1, 2024. Foong, who previously served as Head of Orion within the group, will report directly to IPG Mediabrands Malaysia CEO Bala Pomaleh.

This leadership transition follows the departure of Fan Chen Yip, the outgoing Chief Investment Officer, who is leaving to pursue new opportunities after contributing significantly to the company’s investment strategy and growth over the past three years.

In her new role, Foong will oversee all legacy and new media investments for IPG Mediabrands Malaysia, focusing on buying accountability and innovation. She brings with her a wealth of industry experience and a proven track record within the network, having played a pivotal role in nurturing partnerships and driving results.

Pomaleh expressed confidence in Foong’s capabilities, stating, “We are excited to appoint Stephanie to this role as Chief Investment Officer.
