DDB Group Hong Kong is proud to announce the promotion of Adrian Tso from Head of Strategy to Chief Strategy Officer. This move marks Tso’s fifth promotion in his nine-year tenure with the agency, and his second since taking the helm of the strategy team in 2019.
The promotion follows a landmark year for DDB Group Hong Kong’s strategy team, which has garnered notable recognition for its impactful work. Highlights include winning the prestigious HK Grand Effie, being named the most successful agency at the 2024 HK Effie Awards, and securing a top position in the Effie Index. Additionally, DDB Hong Kong was honored in WARC’s top 50 most effective agencies in APAC and was the only Hong Kong agency to win the WARC Awards for Effectiveness this year.
In his new role, Tso will continue to report directly to DDB Group Hong Kong CEO, Andreas Krasser. His responsibilities will include sustaining the agency’s momentum in delivering effective strategies and developing new business opportunities.

Beyond his strategic role, Tso is deeply invested in nurturing the next generation of advertising professionals. He serves as a guest lecturer at Hong Kong universities, oversees the agency’s internship program, and participates in industry events as a juror and presenter. Tso is also a member of the Global Strategy Council for the DDB network.
