Iris London Welcomes New CEO and ECD to Drive Next Phase of Growth

Iris Worldwide London is undergoing a significant leadership transformation with the appointment of Zoe Eagle as CEO and Katy Hopkins as Executive Creative Director. This marks a pivotal shift as Claire Humphris, who has been with Iris for 25 years, and Grant Hunter, a creative force for 20 years, step down from their roles.

Zoe Eagle, previously a Co-Chief Creative Officer at Accenture Song and with experience at Karmarama, BBH, Creature, and DLKW, brings a strong background in creativity and effectiveness. Her appointment signals a new era of growth and innovation for Iris London. Eagle expressed her enthusiasm for joining Iris, noting its legacy of creativity and her eagerness to build on the foundation laid by Humphris and Hunter.

Katy Hopkins, who joins from House 337, has a distinguished career marked by work with major brands such as Sky, B&Q, PETA, and Green Flag. Her innovative approach and extensive experience will contribute to elevating Iris London’s creative output. Hopkins is excited to collaborate with the team to push creative boundaries and enhance brand engagement.

This leadership change comes amidst a challenging year for Iris London, which has faced a drop in income and high employee turnover. The fresh leadership team is set to navigate these challenges and drive the agency forward. They join other recent senior appointments, including Eduardo Maruri as Global Creative Chair, Elisha Pearce as MD of Growth and Marketing, and Marie Little as MD of Health.

Ian Millner, Co-Founder of Iris Worldwide, praised Humphris and Hunter for their instrumental roles in shaping the agency’s legacy and expressed optimism about the future under the new leadership. With Eagle and Hopkins at the helm, Iris London is poised for a dynamic new chapter.
