NEW YORK, May 2026 — Agencies, studios, brands and freelancers in 11 countries and regions in APAC were selected as Cube and Merits winners at the global Art Directors Club ADC 105th Annual Awards ceremony, held at Capitale in New York during The One Club for Creativity’s Creative Week 2026.
Highlighting the region, The Nine Shanghai was named ADC 105th Boutique Agency of the Year, based on cumulative points for all awards won this year: one Silver Cube, two Bronze and three Merit. Most of the wins – the Silver Cube, one Bronze, and two Merits – were for “Fascinating” on behalf of Shenzhen Tourism Bureau, China.
In addition, Best of Discipline in Product Design was awarded to TBWA\Hakuhodo Inc. Tokyo, working with Amana Tokyo and Taki Corporation Tokyo, for “Smart Eye Camera” on behalf of OUI. The work also won two ADC Gold Cubes, one Bronze, and one Merit.
Overall, entrants from the region were awarded a total of 10 Gold Cubes, 23 Silver, 47 Bronze, and 66 Merits.

The ADC Designism Cube, presented annually to the entry that best encourages positive societal and political change, went to Established New York for packaging design on behalf of Tilt.
This year’s Best of Non-Profit went to FCB Canada (TBWA\Canada) Toronto for “The Count” on behalf of Sickkids Foundation.
Area 23 New York led the world this year with eight ADC Gold Cube wins, followed by Squarespace New York with six, The New York Times Magazine New York with five, and NOMINT London and VML Health Spain Madrid with four each.
Entries were received from 60 countries this year. Agencies, studios, freelancers, brands and production companies in 39 countries were awarded a total of 90 ADC Gold Cubes, 114 Silver, 166 Bronze, and 296 Merits this year.
ADC Cube and cash prize winners in the inaugural ADC AI Visual Design-Dreamina AI category, in partnership with Dreamina AI to honor the frontier of generative craft, will be announced on May 21, 2026.
The new category, which was free to enter and made possible by ADC’s exclusive partnership with Dreamina AI, part of ByteDance, recognizes evolving creative craft and honors modern creators who are using AI as a creative partner to expand the boundaries of visual expression.
The ADC Annual Awards 2026 Global Creative Rankings will be announced on May 20, 2026.
