Macca’s Hot Honey Sauce teams up with Culture Kings for a spicy new streetwear collaboration featuring Drip

Macca’s has spiced up its menu with the arrival of the global food trend – Hot Honey Sauce – available for a limited time! Fans can now enjoy three delicious new options: Hot Honey McSpicy, Hot Honey McCrispy, and Hot Honey Sauce for Chicken McNuggets. But that’s not all – Macca’s has also teamed up with Australia’s leading streetwear brand, Culture Kings, to launch an exclusive Hot Honey-themed t-shirt.

The campaign combines the idea of ‘drip’ (stylish clothing) with the literal drip of the gooey Hot Honey sauce. The exclusive Culture Kings x McDonald’s Hot Honey tee is available at Culture Kings’ Melbourne store and online starting Wednesday, March 19, until stocks run out. After that, the only way to get your hands on this limited-edition tee will be by ordering the Hot Honey range via the MyMacca’s app.

Macca’s and Culture Kings kicked off the campaign on March 17 with teaser posts across Instagram, Melbourne’s Hozier Lane store, and digital billboards to build excitement. The full campaign will roll out across screens, billboards, and social media from March 19.

Fans are also invited to a special sneaker drop-style launch event on Saturday, March 22, at Culture Kings’ flagship Melbourne store. Here, customers can further customise their tees to make them truly one-of-a-kind.

Amanda Nakad, McDonald’s Australia’s Marketing Director for Menu and Brand, said: “We’ve seen increasing demand for chicken, and our new Hot Honey range brings even more variety to our menu. It’s a little sweet, a little sticky, and will definitely have you coming back for more – so we say, embrace the drip!”

Jack Nunn, Creative Partner at DDB Sydney, added: “We took inspiration from sneaker drop culture for this campaign. It feels fresh and exciting. I can’t wait to see Grimace wearing one of these tees – I think he’d look great!”

The Hot Honey range is available now in restaurants and on the MyMacca’s app for a limited time, while the exclusive Culture Kings x McDonald’s Hot Honey tee can be purchased online while stocks last.
