Heckler, the award-winning post-production company, has appointed Steven Marolho as its new Managing Director and Executive Producer.
Steven Marolho brings over 20 years of experience in entertainment and advertising production. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading companies across Australia, the UK, Greater China, and the USA. His leadership roles at major studios such as Technicolor, Moving Picture Company, and Digital Domain have equipped him with deep knowledge in managing creative teams and complex productions.
Marolho’s expertise covers a wide range of areas, including visual effects, post-production, live-action production, generative AI, and immersive technology. These skills will be essential as Heckler looks to strengthen its global position and continue pushing creative boundaries.
In addition to his leadership roles, Marolho is well-known in the industry for supporting creative excellence. He has served as a judge for top global awards like AICP (New York), ADFEST (Thailand), AD STARS (Korea), and Ciclope (Berlin), and has been a keynote speaker at The One Show.
