Burson has appointed Taj Reid as its new Global Chief Creative Officer, effective January 8, 2025. Reid brings extensive experience in merging creativity, design, and technology to craft impactful campaigns across various industries.
Reid joins Burson from Edelman, where he served as Global Chief Experience Officer and U.S. Chief Creative Officer. Prior to Edelman, he worked at Microsoft as Principal Creative Director, leading teams to create digital products and community experiences for Mixed Reality. He has also held the role of Creative Director at Edelman earlier in his career.
Corey duBrowa, Global CEO of Burson, shared that in today’s fragmented media landscape, brands need creative, multi-dimensional campaigns that not only reach key audiences but also inspire action. He added that Reid’s talent in blending creative vision with design and technology will help clients build strong reputations.
Reid expressed excitement about Burson’s innovative approach, combining technology with human creativity, and looks forward to helping clients build future-ready brands that resonate with their audiences.
Reid will be succeeding Simon Shaw, who will leave the agency at the end of 2024. DuBrowa thanked Shaw for his leadership and contributions and wished him the best for the future.
