Teleflora Launches Heartfelt Holiday Campaign with Make-A-Wish, Donating $250K to Spread Joy This Season

This holiday season, Teleflora® is once again partnering with Make-A-Wish® to bring joy and hope to children facing critical illnesses. Through a heartwarming new campaign called “The Power of Wishes,” Teleflora aims to remind us of the magic a simple wish can bring and the life-changing impact it can have.

The campaign follows a young boy named Matty, who is in the hospital during the holiday season. As he tries to write a letter to Santa, he notices something magical outside his window – a snowman dressed like a sailor. To his surprise, the snowman salutes him back. What follows is a beautiful moment of wonder as Matty and the snowman share a snowball fight, make snow angels, and take selfies together. Just as Matty wonders if it was all a dream, he finds a Teleflora bouquet with a note that says, “Some wishes do come true.” Moments later, his father walks in, and Matty joyfully embraces him. His wish has come true.

This touching ad goes beyond the screen, as Teleflora welcomed two Make-A-Wish alumni, Matty and Kinsley, to the set for a special behind-the-scenes experience. The boy in the ad is named Matty to honor these wish kids, and the campaign celebrates their shared love of baseball. According to a 2022 survey by Make-A-Wish, 91% of wish parents believe their child’s wish experience gives them a better chance of overcoming critical illness.

As part of this holiday campaign, Teleflora is offering three ways for Americans to get involved and make a difference:

  1. Shop for a Cause: From now until December 31, 2024, 15% of the purchase price from select holiday bouquets on Teleflora.com will go to Make-A-Wish®. Bouquets like the Frosty Wishes Bouquet and Snowman Surprise Tree come in festive containers, making them a lasting holiday decoration.
  2. Join the Social Media Campaign: For every like on Teleflora’s posts with @makeawishamerica on Instagram and Facebook, Teleflora will donate $5 to Make-A-Wish, up to a maximum total donation of $250,000.
  3. Build a Snowman in NYC: On December 11, 2024, join Teleflora at Rockefeller Center in New York City to build a snowman. Teleflora will donate $10 for every snowman built, and if shared on social media, the donation doubles to $20.

“Teleflora is honored to partner with Make-A-Wish and help make this holiday season brighter for children in need,” said Danielle Mason, Vice President of Marketing at Teleflora. “Through this partnership, we hope to inspire everyone to believe in the power of giving and the magic of wishes.”

The “Power of Wishes” campaign is part of Teleflora’s ongoing “Love Out Loud” brand platform and will be featured across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other digital channels.

By purchasing a bouquet, engaging on social media, or visiting Rockefeller Center, everyone can play a part in making a child’s holiday wish come true.
