Today,Visa launches Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics campaign starring record‑breaking athletes Mikaela Shiffrin and Oksana Masters, pairing intimate, human moments with Visa’s tangible role in enabling progress.
Developed in partnership with Anomaly, the new anthem films spotlight the real journeys, resilience, and support systems behind two of the most decorated women in sport, showing how Visa helps power progress on the road to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
Through intimate, emotionally resonant visuals, the campaign brings to life the belief that everywhere you’ve gone shapes where you’re going next, and that Visa is always with you for whatever comes ahead.
Set against the global backdrop of Milan Cortina 2026, the films continue Visa’s Olympic and Paralympic storytelling by highlighting the “village” behind both athletes, including coaches, family members, fans and everyday support systems, while naturally integrating how Visa shows up in those moments.
The athlete-led pieces are supported by Brand Advantage films that spotlight Visa’s product superiority, reinforcing how Visa shows up behind the scenes to support athletes and fans, wherever their journeys take them.
Anchored by two anthem films featuring Mikaela Shiffrin and Oksana Masters, the campaign centers on real athlete journeys: moments of resilience, perseverance, and trust that define what it takes to reach the pinnacle of sport. Each film showcases Visa’s longstanding role in personal progress.
60 anthem spotlights the most decorated alpine skier in history, Mikaela Shiffrin, as she rides the ski lift toward the mountaintop, reflecting on her career and personal journey. Beginning with childhood memories of buying her first ski boots, the film follows her evolution through doubt and determination, culminating in record-breaking runs and a final ascent down the mountain. The film closes with Shiffrin announcing, “There is no top, there’s just the choice to rise.”
30 anthem captures the personal journey of Oksana Masters, a multi‑sport Paralympic champion, through a montage of formative moments that shaped her athletic path. After training, racing, and reflecting, she declares, “It’s everything behind you that brings you to what’s ahead.”
Rather than focusing on spectacle or medals alone, the campaign centers on the emotional weight of Shiffrin and Masters’ real lives.
Built on Visa’s “Everywhere You Want to Be” brand platform, the campaign expands the focus to the journey, the support systems, and the internal drive that sustains excellence. It deepens the platform’s emotional resonance while reinforcing Visa’s enduring role in enabling progress on the world’s biggest stage. Together, the films celebrate not just achievement, but the emotional and practical support that makes progress possible.
The campaign is live today across broadcast, social, CTV, and OLV on Netflix, Peacock, Paramount+, YouTube, and Hulu.
