Lyndsey Corona to Exit Ogilvy US CEO Role After Less Than a Year

Lyndsey Corona is stepping down as CEO of Ogilvy US after less than a year in the role, marking another leadership change for the WPP-owned agency. Corona, who took charge of Ogilvy’s US business in January, is leaving to pursue a new opportunity outside the agency world.

Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO of The Ogilvy Group, will take on the role of interim CEO for North America. According to reports, Ogilvy currently has no immediate plans to appoint a permanent successor.

Corona joined WPP in January 2025 as Global Growth Lead for the Verizon account before moving into the top leadership role at Ogilvy US. She previously held senior positions at Slap Global and McCann North America, working with major global brands including McDonald’s, Microsoft, Pernod Ricard and PUMA.

Her departure comes as Ogilvy continues to evolve its global leadership and organisational structure under Ezekiel’s leadership, with the agency focusing on simplifying operations, strengthening collaboration and expanding its creative and strategic capabilities.
