November, 2nd 2026 – London International Awards (LIA), one of the world’s prestigious Global Creative Awards and part of the WARC Creative 100 Rankings, is pleased to reveal its 2026 Global and Regional Of The Year Winners. LIA, an awards show focused on creativity and creatives, is included in the Drum World Creative Rankings, ADC Germany, Nordic INDIKAT, Advertising Health World Top 10, Campaign Brief rankings, as well as, many other global and regional creative excellence rankings.
At its recent 41st annual judging, which convened over ten days at Encore @ Wynn in Las Vegas, top creative practitioners from all over the world judged every piece of work on-site. With no pre-judging, all jurors saw every submission in their respective categories, deliberated and thoughtfully evaluated the work before narrowing it down to the statue winners and finalists. This practice at LIA ensures that judging is absolutely transparent and fair. And that no work gets overlooked.
The points attained from all Grand LIAs (100 points), Golds (40 points), Silvers (15 points), Bronzes (5 points) and Finalists (1 point) contribute to the Of The Year Awards, regardless of entering company. We use company credits input at time of entry to calculate these points. We do NOT calculate the Entrant field.
After a meticulous and thorough calculation of the points assigned to Winners and Finalists, LIA is proud to announce this year’s prestigious ‘Of The Year’ Winners.

The LIA’s are a moment to witness what we can do when Ogilvy is at its best everywhere, all year long. To win the LIA’s Network of the Year honors for a sixth consecutive time shows us how we get there — championing the unrivaled power of creativity, driven by the world’s most talented people, in partnership with the world’s most intrepid and interesting clients. Alexander Schill, Global Chief Creative Officer, SERVICEPLAN GROUP, says: “Being named Global Independent Network of the Year, alongside Independent Network and Agency of the Year for Europe, is a fantastic recognition of what we believe in: creativity has never been more valuable. AI is giving all of us more possibilities, more speed and more output. But it cannot give us courage, conviction or the instinct to reject the obvious answer. That remains human. And it is exactly where we want to make the difference: using technology to amplify original thinking, not replace it. This recognition belongs to all the brilliant people across our Houses of Communication, who keep pushing for work that is brave, distinctive and worth remembering.”
Rethink, Toronto took home the coveted Statue for Global Independent Agency of the Year. On top of the Grand LIA for Heinz Ketchup “Look Familiar?” in Billboard, they also won three (3) Golds for “Look Familiar?” in Billboard, Poster and Print.
In reflecting on his success, Aaron Starkman, Global Chief Creative Officer and Partner of Rethink Communications, remarked: “The best thing about being independent is that you’re free to make the bets you believe in, not the ones you’re told to make. At Rethink, we’re betting on human creativity. In a world increasingly obsessed with what AI can do, we believe the biggest opportunities lie in what only humans can do: imagine what’s never been imagined, make connections nobody else sees, and create things nobody has ever seen before. Independence gives us the freedom to follow an idea wherever it leads, take risks others might not, and make work that actually moves things forward. Because if you want to do what’s never been done, you need the freedom to do things differently. Go Indies.”
