Evan Roberts, the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at TBWA\Australia, is set to leave the agency to launch his own creative start-up on March 28. Roberts has been with TBWA for nearly five years, where he took on significant creative responsibilities across various brands, including Apple, PepsiCo, and Mastercard.
Before joining TBWA, Roberts spent over six years at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, where he earned acclaim for campaigns like the award-winning “Meet Graham” for the Victorian Transport Accident Commission. This campaign gained international recognition and contributed to Clemenger being named the most creative agency in the world.
During his time at TBWA, Roberts led numerous successful campaigns, helping the agency win new clients like the Department of Defence and Kraft Heinz. His creative leadership has been a driving force behind the agency’s recent successes.
In a heartfelt message on LinkedIn, Roberts expressed gratitude to his colleagues and acknowledged the valuable experiences he gained at TBWA. He shared his excitement for the new venture, stating, “It’s time to build my own boat.”
As he prepares to embark on this new journey, the advertising community eagerly anticipates what innovative ideas Roberts will bring to his new agency. TBWA will soon announce a successor for his role, continuing the agency’s commitment to creativity and impactful advertising.
