LIA Day 3: Competition Heats Up with Four New Panels

The action kept building in Las Vegas as LIA judging entered Day 3. Nine powerhouse panels were underway, including four new juries that took their seats that day: Ambient & Activation, Billboard, Poster and Print; Creative Strategy; Branded Content and Branded Entertainment; and Design and Package Design. With every juror seeing every piece of work in their category, no shortcuts and no pre-judging, the cards were on the table for the world’s best ideas to prove their worth.

Stay tuned as the first batch of winners and finalists were set to be announced soon, as judging for the first few panels came to a close.

Jury Presidents Reflected on Their First Day of Judging

Dan Lucey
TV & Cinema and Online Film Jury President
“It had been a couple of years since TV film and cinema dominated media buys, so it was good to see it remained as disruptive, entertaining, and engaging as ever. There were lots of strong entries.”

Gabriel Schmitt
Evolution and Creative Use of Data Jury President
“On Day 1 we saw a great range of ideas—from Telco antennas helping spot wildfires to video game heat helping save cold pizzas. A great range. We couldn’t have asked for a more fun Day 1.”
