Mortar AI launches Asia HQ in Singapore with Shane Mitchell leading regional growth

Australian-founded marketing intelligence company Mortar AI has officially expanded into Asia with the opening of its first international office in Singapore, which will serve as the company’s regional headquarters for the continent.

The Singapore hub will oversee strategy, market development, and service delivery across key Asian markets, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, and India. Operating from this central location, Mortar aims to provide consistent measurement frameworks and operational standards while adapting solutions to meet the specific needs of each local market.

To lead its Asia operations, Mortar AI has appointed Shane Mitchell as APAC Strategy Director. Based in Singapore, Mitchell brings over 20 years of experience in technology and media, having held senior roles at digital and AI-focused companies including Exact AI. In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping regional strategy, driving client partnerships, and helping brands and agencies optimize marketing accountability and performance.

The Singapore office will also serve as a blueprint for Mortar AI’s future international rollouts, with additional expansions planned for 2026. This announcement follows the recent appointment of Paul Sigaloff, former oOh!media Chief Revenue and Growth Officer and Yahoo APAC head, as Mortar’s Global Chief Customer Officer, a role created to accelerate the company’s global growth and strengthen its customer-first mission.

Mortar AI provides a privacy-safe marketing measurement platform that integrates Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), incrementality testing, and digital tracking. Its technology is currently used by clients in retail, automotive, and FMCG sectors to connect multiple data systems, including CRM, CDP, and advertising platforms, allowing brands to make data-driven marketing decisions and optimize performance across campaigns.
