Rafael Rizuto Joins Droga5 as CCO for New York & Americas

Droga5, part of Accenture Song, has named Rafael Rizuto as Chief Creative Officer of New York and the Americas. Rizuto will be based in New York and officially begin his new role in January 2026. He will lead creative efforts at Droga5’s New York headquarters while overseeing work across the Americas, connecting regional teams to strengthen collaboration and deliver innovative solutions for global clients. He will also leverage the broader resources of the Accenture Song network to maximize creative impact.

Born in Brazil, Rizuto brings over 20 years of experience across multiple continents and leading agencies. Most recently, he served as North American Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy and has previously worked at Ogilvy offices in Brazil and Dubai. In addition, he has held senior creative roles at Dentsu Creative (US and Hispanic LATAM), BBH US, 180LA, Pereira O’Dell San Francisco, and founded his own San Francisco agency, TBD.

An art director by training, Rizuto’s work is known for its bold creativity and cultural resonance. He has led several award-winning campaigns, including Dove’s Get Unready (Gold at Cannes Lions), Boost Mobile’s Boost Your Voice (Double Grand Prix and Titanium at Cannes Lions), UNICEF’s Unfairy Tales (Grand Prix for Good), Eurofarma’s Scrolling Therapy (Pharma Grand Prix 2023), and Google’s Black Owned Friday (Best of Show at The One Show and Clios).

Beyond his creative work, Rizuto has helped elevate the agencies he has worked at, including returning BBH New York to Ad Age’s A-List after a decade, helping 180LA become the TBWA network’s most awarded agency for two consecutive years, and contributing to Dentsu Creative US earning Ad Age Standout Agency recognition for the first time.

Mark Green, Global CEO of Droga5, commented, “Rafa brings boundless energy and world-class experience to Droga5. He will play a key role in reinventing Droga5 New York while leveraging the strengths of our team in Brazil across the Americas. We are excited for this next chapter.”

Rafael Rizuto said, “I grew up admiring Droga5 and the way it has redefined creativity. Joining this team to help shape its future is an incredible privilege. With our creativity, amplified by Accenture Song’s technology expertise, I believe we can set a new standard in the industry. The future is bright.”
